That's where I learned about pearl thongs, and decided that they sounded like an uncomfortable waste of time.
Flash forward more than a decade, and I'm sending them out on a daily basis to customers who actually request this as an add-on item to their boxes. I decided it was time I knew what all the fuss was about and took one of the Bacli and G Pearl Thongs home to try out.
First off, these things are gorgeous to look at. The quality is super beautiful, the pearls feel smooth and substantial, while the lace is soft and comfortable.
The thong sits like a normal thong, but the pearls take the place of the usual material string, and the biggest visible difference is your outer labia will be showing (ah, no pic of this... but you can find that example here). It's meant to, as the pearls are supposed to make contact with your clit. One thing I will say is that if you're not a regular thong or g-string wearer, this might not be the best option for daily or long wear.
Sunday came along and my husband and I had a lunch date planned, so I decided that could be the perfect timing. Slightly risky, because having an uncomfortable clacker could potentially ruin the day.
I put it on, and the pearls were COLD which was a bit of a shock, but not necessarily a bad one. If you're someone who is sensitive to cold, or not into temperature play, I recommend warming the pearls up in your hand before putting it on.
Once the pearls had adjusted to my skin temperature, not only was the Bracli and G comfortable, it was amazingly pleasurable to wear. The pearls were so surprisingly soft, and the pressure the thong applied was gentle enough for me to have worn it all day long. There was no uncomfortable rubbing, and being able to sit down while wearing it was probably the most unexpected part. As far as a pleasure product goes, this thong hits the bullseye. It built up the right amount of arousal, where I was completely turned on but still able to have a conversation and enjoy my lunch.
And so, I give the pearl thong a 5/5. It's pretty, it's comfortable, it does what it claims to do, and for me, it led to afternoon sex.
